So I was digging through some political finance data and found something interesting about Representative Shri Thanedar. Apparently this guy pulled in around $271.7K from the stock market in just one month last year - not bad if you can swing it. His net worth is estimated at $41.5M as of mid-2025, which puts him pretty high up in Congress rankings. The shri thanedar net worth tracker shows he's got about $8.1M in publicly traded assets that are being monitored live. What caught my eye though was looking at his actual trading history. The guy made some pretty solid moves back in early 2023 - sold off $250K of APO right before it jumped 113.8%, and another $100K of AXP that went up 107.45% after he sold. That's either good timing or someone knows something. He also dumped $100K of Tesla stock in August 2022, though that one only went up 5.46% afterward. Not every trade was a winner though - he sold $50K of CHRS and it tanked 90.41% after that, so maybe he dodged a bullet there. Beyond just trading, the guy's been busy with legislative stuff too. He's proposed bills on things like Medicaid conversion therapy restrictions and tax changes on unemployment compensation. In his latest fundraising disclosure from Q1 2025, he brought in $45.8K with most coming from individual donors, and he's sitting on $6.1M in cash on hand. Interesting to see how politicians manage their personal portfolios while dealing with all their other responsibilities. The shri thanedar net worth figures are estimates based on public disclosures, so take them with a grain of salt.
