then i can use the reach to promote the stuff i actually build.
it’s funny until it isn’t.
that’s basically the deal this platform is offering.
become a character for distribution.
or stay yourself and accept you’re playing a smaller game.
i don’t even judge people who take the deal.
i just don’t want to hate my own feed.

i’m not even mad about low engagement.
i’m mad about the implication.
the algo changed and suddenly my “for you”is filled with:
> “hot takes”
> engagement-optimized slop
> rage loops
> same stuff on repeat
feels like being told “this is how you cook now”
i know it works for some. cool.
i just don’t want to hate what i post.
what do i do then?

in the last few days I’ve seen a bunch of new trading journals pop up and they all look… annoyingly clean.
like the kind of clean where you instantly know someone cared.
and my first thought wasn’t even “nice”, it was “ok this niche is about to get crowded"

timeline is in full openclaw + claude code worship mode. i’m not even against it.
but when everyone posts the same “game changer” line, it becomes annoying fast.
tools are great.
the echo chamber is not.

The current state of AI is beautiful.
Remember it. These are the good days.

Codex is so beautiful… the only thing I’m scared of is hitting the usage limits. I can live with that fear.
