It feels like this is the exact same playbook as 2022. Do nothing, do nothing some more and then pounce.
To be honest I haven’t felt this unproductive in a long time. I’ve been working on health a lot but I miss printing in crypto day in and day out.
Even with the plays there have been, honestly couldn’t be screwed with them either. Seems so tedious and uninteresting to me

Actually that’s a lie. A complete 180 from Trump would be the trade of the month. However this isn’t my base case and I believe that’s becoming increasingly low likelihood as time goes on. Trump had stayed consistent with his rhetoric: contemplation of sending ground troops and people close to him saying this could likely last til September.
On top of this we have oil at $110 and stocks coming off. People talking about BTC relative strength, that’s all well and good, but we also had our 10/10 moment which wiped many players off the board.

I hate to say it but equities, commodities and oil are trading like the worst in this war development is yet to come.
I drove 8 hours over the border into Oman and after an insane 24hr hours I’ve now departed the UAE and arrived elsewhere. The ideal ended in a 10k fine + loss of vehicle for my driver.
There was no upside in me staying and many unknown variables - as a trader I had to think in terms of probabilities and manage my risk.
I love Dubai, and I will be back when things simmer down a bit. Til then I will lay low and recoup

Guys, not great in Dubai right now. Not really sure what’s happening, as does everyone else.
Constant barrage of missiles the last hour with one hitting / shrapnel hitting the palm. Obviously I want to get out as soon as possible, I had a flight booked to leave in the next 48 hours but obviously it’s cancelled
Now that it’s night time you can clearly see the missiles across the sky. Very surreal

I wonder what traders will do once this planned strike on Iran from the US that we have all known about for multiple weeks happens...
