Golden Finance reported that on April 26, according to The New York Times, on the 25th local time, U.S. President Trump held a press conference in the White House briefing room regarding a sudden security incident at that day’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. When asked whether he was worried that his life was at risk, Trump said, “This ( being the President of the United States ) is a dangerous profession.” He then added, “I don’t want to live in fear.” He also joked that if Secretary of State Rubio had told him there was a risk of violence, he might not have run for president. Trump said the attacker never got close to him and did not break into the main banquet hall. (China News Service)
