Golden Finance reports that on April 5, U.S. President Trump once again demanded that Iran open the Strait of Hormuz and threatened that, if it did not, Iran would “live in hell.” Trump posted on social media saying, “April 7 will be Iran’s power plant day and bridge day,” implying a fierce bombardment of Iran’s power plants and bridges. He also said, “Open that damn strait, or you will live in hell—just wait and see!” On April 4, Trump posted on social media, calling on Iran to “reach an agreement” or “open the Strait of Hormuz” before April 6, and threatened that “time is running out—only 48 hours remain before all disasters come crashing down on their heads.” In response, the commander of the Central Headquarters of the Iran Armed Forces’ Hatam al-Anbia, Abdullah, made remarks the same day, emphasizing that Iran’s military would firmly defend national rights, protect national assets, and make invaders pay the price.
