Golden Finance reports. On April 4, according to reports from foreign media, Oleksiy Kirylo Budanov, Chief of Staff to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said Ukraine expects that U.S. senior special envoy Witkoff and Kushner, the husband of Trump’s daughter, will lead a delegation to visit Kyiv this month to push for the resumption of peace talks. The delegation may arrive shortly after April 12, Orthodox Easter. Although Witkoff and Kushner have previously traveled to Russia multiple times to meet with Putin, this will be their first visit to Ukraine. Budanov said Republican Senator Lindsey Graham may also accompany them. A U.S. official said that the possibility of Witkoff and Kushner visiting Ukraine is being discussed, but has not yet been finalized or confirmed. Budanov said that with the U.S. delegation’s visit, Kyiv may receive stronger commitments. In addition, Budanov said that as the Iran war enters its sixth week and drives up global oil prices and fuel prices, Ukraine has received requests from foreign allies asking it to pause routine airstrikes on Russian refineries. He said, “We will respond diplomatically. We did receive relevant signals,” but did not elaborate further. (Jin Ten)
