The sanctions document released by the UK refers to Hu Xiaowei as “Wu Anming,” stating that he is associated with Chen Zhi and the Prince Group, and is described as “a long-term collaborator of Chen Zhi,” providing financial services, economic resources, and technical support. It is reported that the cryptocurrency trading platform “New Currency” has also been sanctioned; New Currency is considered one of the largest illegal markets in Southeast Asia, providing cryptocurrency services for scam centers, including the sale of stolen personal data and satellite internet devices used to contact victims.
