Trust Wallet Browser Extension Explodes, Users Need to Beware of Wallet Security Risks in Version 2.68

If you're still using the Trust Wallet browser extension, you should pay close attention to this message. Recently, the Trust Wallet official announced that version 2.68 of the browser extension has a serious security vulnerability. They have initiated the first phase of compensation for affected users who meet the criteria, while other claims are still being reviewed in batches.

**Affected Wallets Should Not Be Used Any Longer**

The official warning is clear: any wallet created or used with version 2.68 of the browser extension is at risk. Especially if you're still using these old wallets on your browser or mobile app, the risk is high. Whether or not you've experienced asset theft, you should take immediate action.

**Asset Migration Becomes a Must**

To address this, Trust Wallet has launched a new "Asset Migration" feature, allowing users to more easily transfer funds from affected wallets to new, secure wallets. The steps are simple: update to the latest version → create a new wallet → use the migration feature to transfer funds from the old wallet → completely abandon the problematic wallet.

This incident once again reminds us that wallet security is no small matter. Regular updates and timely migration are far more important than remedial actions after the fact.
