Recently participated in a contract trading competition, so I decided to share the data as a reference for friends who are still debating about rebate configurations.
First, let's talk about the cost side: slippage and spread consumed 313U, and nominal fees accumulated to 1223U. The key part here — I pre-configured a high rebate of 40%, so the actual expenditure is only 1223 × 0.6 = 733.8U. In other words, the total cost is controlled around 1046U.
On the profit side? Currently ranked around 100th, and have already stabilized at earning 18,666 tokens. At the current price, that's roughly 1700U. So, the pure profit is over 650U.
Compare this to friends without rebates — their costs directly soared to 1536U, and profit margins were squeezed tightly. Just a difference in rebate configuration can lead to such a big gap in earnings. It may seem like just a fee difference, but in a trading competition, it’s about whether you can break even and how much you can turn around.
Therefore, trading competitions are not purely about luck; calculating and proper configuration are the keys to winning. If needed, I can discuss rebate details — the payments are very timely.
