Transferring money between people is already complicated enough—cross-border wire transfers can take days, you have to deal with bank business hours, compliance checks are a headache, and the fees are outrageous. But that's just the beginning.

Imagine this: in the future, most transactions might not even involve humans at all. Those autonomously operating software agents—microscale programs negotiating prices, purchasing computing power, authorizing content usage—how will transactions between them work? Traditional banking systems are simply out of the picture in this scenario. Every transaction requires manual signature and confirmation? Get real.

This is exactly the problem Kite is solving. They're building a payment pipeline designed specifically for these intelligent agents: instant settlement, fully traceable, and most importantly, no human authorization required for every single transaction. When AI agents need to complete thousands of micropayments in milliseconds, this is the kind of infrastructure that can actually keep up.

To put it simply, the old payment rails were designed for 20th-century humans. But Kite is focused on the next era—a world where seamless machine-to-machine collaboration demands a new kind of financial pipeline.

The traditional banking system really should be phased out; the way they bleed you dry with fees is just insane. The idea of AI agents trading automatically with each other is actually pretty solid—it feels like the real use case for blockchain. Kite's approach makes sense, but it all comes down to execution. The micro-payment infrastructure space is really complicated. I'm a bit worried about centralization issues—will these payment channels end up being monopolized by a few big players again? If the era of machine trading really arrives, traditional finance will definitely just get steamrolled.

Millisecond-level micropayments... now this is real future infrastructure. The old, outdated banking systems should have been retired long ago.

Hmm... this is what real payment infrastructure looks like. Finally, someone has figured it out.
