Although the candlestick pattern hasn't completely broken down, the trading volume is clearly shrinking. What does that tell us? The market just isn't hot—there's no momentum to push it higher even if people wanted to.

Looking at the broader market environment, there are both good and bad news—it's pretty mixed. No single force is really driving the pace.

My take is that in the short term, it's likely to keep consolidating. We'll need to wait for volume to pick up and for a clear shift in market sentiment before we see a new trend emerge.
