There’s been a lot of buzz in the community lately—apparently CZ is paying attention to several new projects in the prediction market space?

Specifically, Kalshi, opinionlabsxyz, and predict.fun. All of these are still in the early stages, and I’ve heard that there’s some connection with the core team of a major exchange behind the scenes.

Prediction markets are definitely an interesting track, maybe another approach to decentralized oracles? But right now these platforms are still in the cold start phase, and both product maturity and user base need to be observed. Whether the Web3 prediction track can produce the next breakout application may depend on how these early projects differentiate themselves.

This feels a bit like the eve of DeFi Summer back in the day, but the market environment has changed. Let’s wait and see.
