Japanese rice price big pump by 82%, with a retail price of nearly 35 yuan per kilogram of rice

On February 15th, according to the latest survey by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in February, as of the week ending January 27th, the average retail price of 5 kilograms of rice in Japan was 3,688 yen (about 175 yuan), a staggering 82% increase from the same period last year. In other words, the current retail price of rice per kilogram in Japan is nearly 35 yuan.
