美国联邦地区法院最新裁定,叫停司法部针对现任美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔的传票调查。此前,参议院银行委员会最高民主党人沃伦曾明确表态,在特朗普政府彻底停止对鲍威尔及美联储理事丽莎·库克的刑事调查前,不应推进新任美联储主席提名确认。

裁决公布后,沃伦称调查属"政治迫害",并与共和党参议员汤姆·蒂利斯共同呼吁司法部彻底放弃调查。随着调查受挫,其此前设定的前提条件趋于满足,沃什提名推进阻力明显下降。

值得注意的是,沃伦以强监管立场著称,而沃什偏鹰派、倾向放松金融监管,二者政策立场明显对立。
