GoPlus: Over $45.84 million lost in Web3 security incidents in October

BlockBeats News, November 12 — GoPlus monitoring shows that in October, Web3 experienced security incidents including smart contract vulnerabilities, social engineering attacks, phishing attacks, Ponzi schemes, and Rugpulls, with total losses exceeding $45.84 million. Among them:

• GMGN users were targeted by phishing attacks, where attackers impersonated third-party token websites to induce unauthorized transactions, resulting in over $700,000 in losses for 107 users;
• A Twitter account previously followed by KOLs like CZ changed its name to @OracleBNB, impersonating a partnership with @fourmeme to issue tokens, then RUG pulled, profiting 34 BNB.
