Gate News bot message, Starknet posted on X stating that STRK stake v2 will launch on the Mainnet tomorrow. The staking protocol will be paused for several hours to allow operators time to migrate, during which the Starknet network will remain fully operational.
Starting from the Staking v2 version, the Starknet Foundation and StarkWare will begin participating in STRK stake.
StarkWare’s plan is as follows:
Delegate among numerous validators
Run your own validator (the staking limit is 10% of the total staking ratio)
In addition, the official release dates for Starknet v0.14.0 are: testnet around June 30 and Mainnet around July 28.
This version introduces a distributed sorter architecture, fee market, memory pool, pre-confirmed transactions, and reduces the block time from 30 seconds to 6 seconds, along with other optimizations.
It is worth mentioning that the USDC bridge between Starknet and Bitcoin is now live on StarkGate.
