According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on May 5, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) has temporarily revoked the electronic system operator registration certificate (TDPSE) for Worldcoin and WorldID services.
The head of the Digital Space Supervisory Agency, Alexander Sabar, stated that the suspension is a measure taken in response to reports of suspicious activities concerning these services. Preliminary investigations show that PT. Terang Bulan Abadi is not registered as an electronic system operator (PSE) and has not obtained the required TDPSE certificate. Furthermore, Worldcoin’s services are operated under the TDPSE of another legal entity, PT. Sandina Abadi Nusantara. The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology plans to summon these two companies for an investigation into alleged violations of electronic system regulations.
