Cryptocurrency company Exodus sues W3C to enforce $175 million acquisition agreement
ME News Report, April 14 (UTC+8), publicly traded crypto company Exodus Movement has filed a lawsuit in the Delaware Court of Chancery, suing W3C and its CEO Garth Howat, demanding they fulfill the $175 million acquisition agreement signed on November 24, 2025. The lawsuit states that Howat and W3C accepted an $80 million loan from Exodus at the time of signing the deal, with $10 million paid to Howat personally. Exodus accuses the defendants of attempting to divert subsidiary funds, backdating government documents, and replacing management to evade transaction obligations. Exodus states that the agreement is binding and expects the deal to be fulfilled. (Source: MLion)
