A roughly $290 million KelpDAO exploit left rsETH unbacked and helped drive about $8.45 billion of outflows from Aave over 48 hours. Broader DeFi total value locked fell by roughly $13 billion into the mid-$80 billion range after the breach. 0xNGMI said the loss was significant but unlikely to be existential, while Spark gained TVL after earlier delisting rsETH and similar assets.
