Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 16, according to Cointelegraph, predicting market platform Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour stated that Kalshi will launch a "Parent Portal," allowing parents to submit identification information to verify whether children are impersonating parents to bypass platform age restrictions. Kalshi will also add selfie verification to accounts, using facial recognition to determine if the user matches the registered identity. The report pointed out that Kalshi is currently facing scrutiny at the state and federal levels in the U.S. due to sports event contracts and bets related to military actions. Meanwhile, Kalshi is asserting in court that it is exclusively under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), with related state-level lawsuits still ongoing.
