If content can exist permanently, then wouldn't time itself become the most important variable?

This is a judgment I have gradually formed after continuously observing @Permaweb_DAO.
We are used to measuring content value by traffic, views, likes, shares, but these metrics are essentially short-term.
And the logic of Permaweb is completely different; it assumes one thing: content will not disappear.
This means the dimension of value assessment is extended, and a piece of content is no longer just about its performance on the day but can be continuously retrieved, cited, and reused in the future.
What the Permaweb DAO is doing is turning this long-term value into an accessible system.
Creators are not just producing content but are accumulating a continuously existing asset library.
This is more like creating a form of informational compound interest—when time becomes a variable, and content can continually build influence, the importance of short-term viral hits diminishes.
Many people are still chasing hot topics, but in the Permaweb system, what is truly scarce are those contents that remain valuable across different time cycles.
This is a completely different creative logic.
