Iranian Foreign Minister and Qatari Foreign Minister hold a phone call to discuss regional developments
ME News message, April 7 (UTC+8). On April 6, Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that Iran’s Foreign Minister Aragchi spoke by phone with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed, discussing the latest developments in the region, the consequences of the U.S. and Israel’s aggression against Iran, and bilateral relations between Iran and Qatar. Aragchi said that the current situation is entirely the result of the military actions launched by the U.S. and Israel against Iran. Aragchi said that, under international law, all countries have an obligation to prevent other countries from using their territory to carry out military actions against other countries, and that they hope regional countries will work together to promote peace and security. According to a statement issued by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed, urged all parties to respect international law, emphasizing that a comprehensive and durable diplomatic solution is the only option for resolving the crisis.
