I encountered an interesting case that I want to discuss with you. Recently, I was offered in Telegram to participate in a cryptocurrency arbitrage system — supposedly helping to promote coins and earn income. It sounded logical, they promised training, step-by-step instructions, everything as it should be. I decided to give it a try.

After the first day of training, I invested $117, leaving a safety cushion for myself. I bought the HIVE coin and sent it to the addresses provided by the "mentors." A few days later, I saw a small profit — $7.50. I thought, maybe this really works? I invested the remaining $124 and got back $132. It seemed like everything was going according to plan.

But then I started looking for information about this scheme and came across a bunch of warnings. It turned out that the addresses I sent the cryptocurrency to were phishing wallets created by scammers. They deliberately make them look similar to real addresses — mixing lowercase and uppercase letters, inserting your UID from the exchange. You think you're sending coins to yourself, but in reality, they go straight to them.

The whole scheme is based on the fact that at the initial stages, scammers actually return part of your money with a small bonus. This is meant to make you believe and start investing larger sums. When you decide to make a big deposit — the money simply disappears. And then there’s no way to get it back.

There are many reviews about cryptocurrency arbitrage online now, and most of them are stories of people who lost money exactly on such schemes. I just closed access to the project and consider myself lucky that I didn’t invest more.

My simple advice: if someone promises you guaranteed income in crypto arbitrage without risks — it’s a scam. There’s nothing risk-free about this. Always verify information, look for real reviews, don’t send money to suspicious addresses. And most importantly — don’t rush. Any serious investigation takes time, and if the scheme is legitimate, it won’t disappear in a couple of days.

If you have similar stories — share them. The more people know about these methods, the fewer victims there will be.
