I came across an interesting method from traditional Chinese medicine that is said to help with erectile dysfunction. It is based on specific acupuncture points that can be targeted for stimulation.

The approach works as follows: focus on the acupuncture points on the inside of the hand, especially the so-called Dishen point at the wrist. According to this method, the main goal is to restore self-confidence because impotence is often associated with a weakening of Mingmen Qi.

For better results, multiple points are combined – the Mingmen point at the second finger joint of the little finger, along with the kidney point and the liver point on the ring finger. The most effective technique is supposed to be moxibustion, that is, heat therapy using cigarette moxibustion, ideally 8–12 times daily before bedtime. Alternatively, you can simply press on these points with your hands while at rest – over 6–12 days, this should significantly improve erectile dysfunction.

There is also another method passed down from ancient times: after a warm bath, take a basin of cold water and soak the penis in it for about 4–6 minutes. This sounds unusual but is said to be very effective for erections. Those who want to target these acupuncture points can focus on the Earth God, Mingmen, liver, and kidney points – a combination traditionally recommended.
