The recent situation in the Middle East has indeed become a bit tense. I just saw someone asking why airline tickets to Dubai suddenly skyrocketed, so let me explain the underlying logic.

Simply put, now Middle Eastern people are fleeing abroad because the situation is really not optimistic. You see, Iran has launched large-scale operations targeting U.S. military deployments in the Middle East, and the U.S. military's core base is at Zafar Air Base near Abu Dhabi, just over a hundred kilometers from Dubai.

The UAE certainly won't sit idly by. They have deployed Patriot missile systems and THAAD systems to intercept Iran's missiles and drones. But the problem is, the intercepted debris just falls down, and a lot of fragments have hit Dubai city area. News reports mention damage at Dubai Airport, craters near the Palm Jumeirah hotel, and impacts around the Burj Khalifa. These were actually caused by intercepted debris, not direct hits from Iranian missiles on civilian facilities.

But this has caused panic across the entire Middle East. Who would still dare to stay here? Since last night, the prices for flights leaving the Middle East have surged dramatically—no matter where you're flying to, tickets are now exorbitant. Why? Because this is no longer just about buying a ticket; it's about buying life. In this situation, being able to escape means staying alive, while staying here means risking your life. So you see countries rushing to evacuate their personnel, and tickets have become scarce resources, causing prices to naturally soar.

Currently, the areas around Middle Eastern airbases are mostly in turmoil, with everyone eager to move to safer places. At such times, you can see the true reaction of the market—the most honest indicator being airline ticket prices.
