I just read about a rather surreal event that happened in the U.S. Congress, and I have to say it caught my attention. Apparently, during the UFO hearings held in November, some lawmakers started speculating about a truly extraordinary possibility: that aliens are helping Putin and Russia, along with China, develop high-tech weapons.

I'm not joking. Congressman Andrew Ogles actually raised the issue in the chamber, saying that for decades the United States has considered itself technologically superior to its adversaries. Yet, he noted, China and Russia have developed extraordinary capabilities in fields like hypersonic missiles. The unsettling question he posed was: where does this technology come from? From our planet or something else?

It doesn't end there. Glenn Grothman added further weight to this theory, emphasizing how unidentified drones recorded in recent years have suspiciously concentrated around American military bases and defense facilities. He even mentioned a strange incident in December over the Langley Air Force Base in Virginia, where a gathering of unidentified drones was observed. Who controls them? Where do they come from? According to Grothman, it could be the result of advanced technologies developed by foreign adversaries, or something much stranger that warrants serious consideration.

What really strikes me is how frustrated Congress is that the Pentagon continues to hide information about UFO research. They have invited Trump to declassify these programs to allow a full assessment of the threat. It’s a bizarre situation that mixes geopolitics, military technology, and the UFO mystery in a way few would have predicted.

Aside from the media spectacle, the core question remains: how are our global competitors truly acquiring these advanced technologies? Whether it's artificial intelligence, industrial espionage, or something entirely different, it’s clear that the technological gap is a serious concern for Washington. Meanwhile, markets continue to move on geopolitical tensions, and those following these developments know well that the implications go far beyond the debate over extraterrestrial beings.
