Hey, I’ve spent quite a bit of time checking out the top NFT games right now, and honestly, the sector has gone crazy. The blockchain gaming industry is expected to reach $65.7 billion by 2027, so it’s clear that this isn’t just a niche thing.
Pikamoon really impressed me. It’s a 3D MOBA game where you raise NFT creatures and send them into battle. The PIKA token is currently in its third pre-sale phase at $0.0006, and honestly, with a market cap much lower than its competitors, the growth potential is huge. The cool thing is you can also stake your PIKA to earn passively. Kevuru Games is developing this, the same team that worked on Fortnite and Star Wars, so the quality is there.
Axie Infinity remains a classic. Okay, its player base decreased during the bear market, but the AXS token is around $1.09 now with a market cap of $184.77 million. You raise digital creatures, battle them, trade them. It’s more active than passive—you really need to play to earn SLP or AXS.
Alien Worlds is another style. You explore an extraterrestrial metaverse, mine Trilium (TLM) on different planets, buy land. It’s multi-chain, so you can play on Ethereum, WAX, or Binance Smart Chain. TLM is at $0.00 but the market cap is $10.41 million. Each planet functions as a DAO, so you can really influence governance if you accumulate TLM.
The Sandbox is for creatives. It’s like Minecraft but with NFTs. You create assets, sell them, monetize your games. SAND is at $0.07 with a market cap of $198.69 million. It’s still in alpha phase, so it can evolve quite a bit.
Gods Unchained is free to start, which I really like. It’s a card game where you build decks and battle other players. The cards are NFTs you can sell. Zero initial investment if you just want to try it out.
The thing with all these NFT games is that you really need to check the underlying blockchain, the token economy, and whether the community is active. Most run on Ethereum because it’s the most stable. Before jumping in, you also need to understand gas fees and how to convert your earnings into real money. OpenSea, Rarible, crypto exchanges… there are several paths.
To cash out, you sell your NFTs or tokens on a marketplace, convert to stablecoin or fiat, then transfer to your bank account. It’s not complicated once you know the process.
Honestly, NFT gaming is more than just entertainment now. It’s a real digital economy. Whether you’re looking for passive income or just want to have fun and earn a little, there are options for all levels. Just be patient and do your research before throwing your money in.
