Amid global tensions, particularly in sensitive areas like the Strait of Hormuz, problems have begun to emerge in coordinating ship movements and causing delays in shipments.

This is where IOTA comes in. The project connects ships to ports and facilitates real-time data exchange at high speed and without fees using Tangle technology.

One of its key strengths is its partnership with the UK on the TLIP project, which aims to digitize international trade by linking ports, shipping companies, and customs authorities in a single system for instant data exchange. This system has been tested in real-world environments to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce delays.

In conclusion, IOTA is not just a currency; it's a practical solution to real problems in maritime transport and global trade, and its importance may increase even further in the current climate.
