Hello Gate Square community! I'm briefly sharing my views on the tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and the course of global markets in April 👇

1️⃣ Will the U.S. and Iran reach a ceasefire this month?
I'm cautious; frankly, I don't expect a clear peace or a lasting ceasefire. Even in the most optimistic scenario, I think it will continue for some time with a volatile process that sometimes hardens and then softens. Although Trump's statement on March 31 that "operations could end in 2-3 weeks" and Iranian President Pezeshkian's message that "we are ready to end the war but we want concrete guarantees" created short-term optimism, there are still no official negotiations. Strait traffic is extremely restricted, and both sides are maintaining their positions. Therefore, instead of a sudden easing in April, I expect a fragile and turbulent period of diplomacy.

2️⃣ Are you bullish or bearish on crypto in April?
I'm still here, and my long-term bullish stance remains. Geopolitical uncertainties may affect prices in the short term, but I see April as a "wait-and-see" month. Structural developments such as clarification of rules, increased institutional investor inflows, rising demand, and the expansion of usage areas make me much more optimistic in the long term. I am cautious about short-term fluctuations, but I think the general trend is upward.

3️⃣ Which sectors are worth positioning early?

- BTC and ETH are, of course, my primary choices.

- Gold & Silver – Although the geopolitical risk premium has decreased, precious metals still hold a safe haven characteristic.

- Oil – Developments in Hormuz directly affect energy prices; therefore, it may be logical to take early positions by closely monitoring geopolitical developments.

All of these are my personal opinions; markets are extremely volatile and unpredictable.
