Is the wheel of fate starting to turn?

Recently, the Sui ecosystem has been quite hot, especially after the trading volume of leading DEXs like Cetus surged, @ferra_protocol's wheel has also started to turn quietly.
While other projects are digging deep into liquidity, Ferra focuses on generating liquidity:
It mainly has three mechanisms: DLMM, CLMM, DAMM. They sound a bit unfamiliar, but simply put, they are all about maximizing transaction fees with the same amount of money.
First, let's talk about DLMM: this approach requires you to choose a price range yourself. If you choose correctly, capital utilization is high, and earning fees feels great. But this method requires careful operation; if the price drifts out of the range, returns can drop quickly. It's more suitable for those who are willing to monitor the market and actively trade.
Next, CLMM: this is a middle-ground approach and is quite common now. It improves efficiency through concentrated liquidity, making it more refined than traditional AMMs, balancing returns and operational complexity. However, it also has drawbacks—if the price moves out of the range, there’s basically no earnings, and manual adjustments are needed.
Finally, DAMM: it may not look impressive, but it’s actually very important. It mainly handles underlying optimizations like dynamic fees and anti-arbitrage measures, suitable for new assets or during high volatility and unstable liquidity, acting like a stabilizer.
Ferra’s approach isn’t betting on just one model; all three can be used. Because market conditions vary, different assets and stages require different liquidity structures. Instead of forcing users to adapt to a single model, it’s better to have all the tools ready.
Moreover, Ferra isn’t just an AMM; it’s also working on aggregators, bonding curves, APIs, and more, aiming to build a comprehensive liquidity operation system.
DLMM, CLMM, DAMM are like three risk-reward curves—aggressive, balanced, and conservative. The structure may seem complex now, but if the Sui ecosystem truly develops, this layered design could hold a good position.
