JUST IN: Meta has agreed with Entergy Louisiana to finance the power infrastructure for its massive data center in Richland Parish, in a deal that promises an additional $2 billion in savings for customers over 20 years and aims to prevent the cost of the AI boom from falling on traditional users.

Meta will cover the full cost of the new power infrastructure to support its Louisiana data center.
