I chatted with a friend last night, and actually, many large companies now have businesses that can generate sustained positive cash flow. With the emergence of AI, it's highly possible that small teams could build similar products and start competing.

When companies grow large, they develop organizational redundancy. Facing the hyenas appearing in the market, users get gradually eaten away piece by piece.

At this current moment in time, the potential utility of expanding a company's headcount is likely quite low, because communication costs between people increase. In contrast, streamlining teams and cultivating AI-native employees can improve efficiency while reducing communication costs—this is a more rational direction for the AI era.
