It is expected that new positions such as Chief AI Officer and AI Governance Expert will emerge in the future, along with hybrid roles across various industries. However, some economists warn that, unlike in the past, automation of cognitive tasks by AI may devalue human expertise, potentially decoupling corporate profit growth from employment growth. Currently, 30% of AI “adopter” companies report achieving quantifiable financial or productivity gains, a significant increase from 16% a year ago.
