Ministry of Commerce spokesperson answers questions on export control measures related to Japan

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce answered questions from reporters regarding export control measures related to Japan. The spokesperson stated that, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, China has decided to include 20 entities, including Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., that are involved in enhancing Japan’s military capabilities on the control list, prohibiting export operators from exporting dual-use items to them. At the same time, 20 Japanese entities, including Subaru Corporation, that cannot verify the end users or end uses of dual-use items have been added to the watch list, and stricter review measures will be implemented for the export of dual-use items.
