A-shares midday review: The three major indices all rose more than 1%, with nearly 4,000 stocks in the entire market gaining. Phosphates, non-ferrous metals, steel, and other sectors strengthened.
On February 25th, the three major A-share indices all rose in the morning session. By midday, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 1.2%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 1.47%, and the ChiNext Index gained 1.43%; the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 rose by 0.28%. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was approximately 15.20781 billion yuan, an increase of about 1.0444 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. At midday, 3,998 stocks rose, 1,363 stocks fell, including 88 stocks hitting the daily limit up and 4 stocks hitting the daily limit down.
In terms of sectors, phosphate chemical industry, non-ferrous metals—zinc and vanadium, energy metals, small metals, steel, and other industries as well as concepts led the gains; while CPO, short dramas, film and television theaters, communications, and cultural media sectors and concepts experienced the largest declines.
