Ethereum is currently experiencing an intense tug-of-war between bulls and bears. More than $2 billion worth of short positions have accumulated above the $2,000 level. At the same time, accumulation addresses bought approximately 2.5 million ETH against the trend in February. The price is presently fluctuating in the 1,900–1,950 USD range and has shown a noticeable recovery in the past 24 hours.
My assessment is as follows: If the bulls can decisively break through $2,000, a wave of short liquidations may follow, potentially pushing the price quickly toward 2,100–2,200 USD. However, if whale hedging sales and broader market pressure persist, downward momentum could remain dominant.
