Citibank: NetEase's current games are expected to support revenue for the next few quarters

Citi Research reports that NetEase’s existing games are expected to support stable and resilient revenue streams over the next few quarters. Among its upcoming releases, the highly anticipated “Infinite” has no specific release date yet, while “Sea of Oblivion” is scheduled for release in the third quarter. However, the continued strong performance of evergreen game “Fantasy Westward Journey” and the momentum since the global launch of “Yan Yun Sixteen Sounds” in November are expected to support revenue. Citi views NetEase as a defensive stock due to its use of AI in game development and its diversified portfolio of mature game franchises. Citi has raised its target price for NetEase’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) from $161 to $165.
