On February 12, the National Healthcare Security Administration announced that the Medical Price and Bidding Procurement Guidance Center has compiled information on pharmaceutical companies rated as “Very Serious (Dishonest)” and “Serious (Dishonest)” in various provinces as of January 1, 2026, involving a total of 153 companies. Based on the credit ratings of pharmaceutical companies, relevant departments may take measures such as reminders, risk alerts, disclosure of dishonest information, or restrictions and suspensions of the company’s involvement in bidding, listing, or distribution of related medicines and medical consumables. For example, companies rated as “Serious (Dishonest)” may have their product listing and distribution qualifications canceled; companies rated as “Very Serious (Dishonest)” may have all their products’ listing and distribution qualifications canceled within the province (and nationwide for involved products).
