ChainCatcher reports that on February 16 and 17, 2026, the UK High Court held a two-day hearing on the asset disposal of the money laundering case involving 60,000 Bitcoin by Zhiming Qian. Over 11,300 Chinese victims plan to submit claims for compensation to the UK High Court, but this only accounts for 8.8% of the 128,409 victims. The deadline for claims in the UK is May 22.

According to Section 281 of the UK Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), if someone claims that assets frozen or to be confiscated by the government originally belong to them, they can apply for compensation to the UK High Court. On October 22, 2024, the UK authorized Blue Sky Grey victims to proactively seek compensation by submitting evidence to the UK High Court, proving they are victims of the Blue Sky Grey case and have a connection to the involved assets.
