A cruise ship caught fire on its way back to Singapore, resulting in the death of one crew member.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore issued a statement on the 20th, saying that around 4 a.m. that day, a Liberia-registered cruise ship, WORLD LEGACY, caught fire while returning to Singapore, resulting in the death of one crew member. The vessel is currently stable and has anchored at Raffles Anchorage in western Singapore. The Maritime and Port Authority patrol boats, the Police Coast Guard, and the Singapore Civil Defence Force maritime units have responded to the scene. The authority stated that, aside from one crew member who unfortunately died, there have been no reports of injuries to other crew members or passengers. (CCTV News)
