Zhihui Finance APP has learned that the concept stocks related to autonomous driving performed well. As of the time of writing, Zhejiang Shibao (01057) rose 16.88% to HKD 7.2; NIO (01316) increased 3.88% to HKD 8.03; Sunny Optical (00699) gained 2.61% to HKD 17.7; and Minth Group (00425) rose 1.49% to HKD 46.22.
On the news front, on February 18, Tesla announced that its first Cybertruck rolled off the production line at the Texas Gigafactory, marking the beginning of the transition of Robotaxi from concept to real vehicle, and laying the foundation for large-scale deployment of Robotaxi services.
Orient Securities released a research report stating that with the completion of vehicle deployment, the subsequent mass production and ramp-up of Cybertruck are expected to follow a high degree of certainty according to the planned schedule. According to Tesla’s plan, the production growth of Cybertruck will follow an S-curve, with long-term production targets far exceeding the total of all other Tesla models. Companies supplying auto parts to the Cybertruck ecosystem are expected to continue to see incremental opportunities.
