Yesterday, in the electrolytic workshop of Zijin Copper, staff were engaged in cathode copper production. Nearby, several intelligent robotic arms were flexibly packing and transporting cathode copper plates, making the entire production area busy yet orderly.

As an important enterprise in Fujian Province’s copper smelting industry, Zijin Copper has formed a large-scale production capacity of 400,000 tons of cathode copper, 18 tons of gold, 400 tons of silver, and 1 million tons of sulfuric acid annually. Facing fluctuations and challenges in the non-ferrous metal market by 2025, the company adheres to efficiency-driven management and has achieved operational results better than the industry average.

“By 2025, Zijin Copper’s annual cathode copper production will reach 415,000 tons, a 4% increase year-on-year; operating income will be 36 billion yuan, a 1% increase year-on-year, maximizing production and operational efficiency during periods of low profit,” said Li Yaoquan, Deputy General Manager of Zijin Copper. During the Spring Festival, the company scientifically arranged production plans, maintaining a normal production rhythm across the plant, laying a solid foundation for a good start to the new year.

The production area of Wengfu Zijin Chemical Co., Ltd. is also operating at full capacity, with intelligent production lines running at full speed, robotic arms moving rhythmically, and transportation vehicles shuttling in an orderly manner. “During the Spring Festival, we developed detailed production plans and emergency response plans to ensure safe, stable, and continuous production,” said Wang Guoxin, Assistant General Manager of Wengfu Zijin Chemical. The company’s current production load remains high, with sufficient inventory of main products to meet customer needs promptly.
