Gelonghui, February 22 — According to 21st Century Business Herald, from Baiyun Airport: On the 20th day of the Spring Festival travel rush in 2026 (February 21), Baiyun Airport handled 1,676 takeoffs and landings in a single day, transported 277,600 passengers, and handled 4,154.14 tons of cargo and mail. Year-over-year, these figures increased by 7.37%, 9.12%, and 9.1%, respectively. Among them, passenger throughput broke the single-day record for Spring Festival travel rush passenger flow. Since the Spring Festival travel rush began on February 2, Baiyun Airport has transported a total of 5.2785 million passengers, becoming the first airport nationwide to surpass 5 million passengers during the Spring Festival travel period, welcoming a “good start” for the New Year.
