⚠️$ETH at a Key Decision Zone Don’t Get Trapped by the Bounce

$ETH is currently sitting at a technically important area after that big liquidation washout. Yes, the bounce looks nice on the surface but that alone doesn’t mean the trend has flipped bullish.
So far, the move up still feels corrective, not impulsive. There’s no strong shift in market structure yet, and nothing clearly suggests a solid bottom is in. This kind of price action often creates hope before the market shows its real direction.
Another red flag: $ETH is still underperforming $BTC
The ETH/BTC pair keeps sliding, which points to underlying weakness. In strong market phases, ETH usually leads. Right now, it’s playing catch-up not a great sign for aggressive longs.
Even if price pushes higher from here, the first rally could easily be a B-wave bounce the kind that looks powerful, pulls in late buyers, and then reverses sharply. These moves are famous for creating the illusion of a new uptrend right before the broader downtrend continues.
For now, there’s no confirmation of a true trend reversal.
What would change the bias?
✅ A clean impulsive 5-wave move up
✅ A strong break and hold above recent highs
❌ Weak bounces with fading momentum = caution
Until then, the safer play is patience and watching the micro-structure closely. That’s where real clues show up first.
