A record-breaking week for Polymarket and Kalshi

Major prediction platforms shattered records last week. Polymarket topped the charts with 13.34 million weekly transactions, confirming its position as the undisputed leader in the segment. In second place, Kalshi processed 11.88 million transactions, while Opinion completed the podium with 379,300 transactions. In total, the ecosystem generated 26.39 million transactions, setting a new all-time record that analysts had not anticipated.

Alongside transaction records, monetary volumes remain high. Polymarket recorded $2 billion in weekly volume, marking an 18.4% increase compared to the previous week. Meanwhile, Kalshi generated $1.4 billion, an 8.5% rise week-over-week.
