Barrio Parque triumphs at the international awards: the Buenos Aires building winning in London

The luxury real estate market in Buenos Aires solidified its presence on the international scene thanks to a new award received at the 2025-2026 International Property Awards. A real estate development located in the most exclusive residential area of the Argentine capital, specifically in Barrio Parque, has been recognized as the regional winner of all of America in the single-residence condominium development category. This achievement places Buenos Aires and its developers in the spotlight of global real estate experts.

A global recognition for Barrio Parque’s architecture

The building located opposite Plaza Perú, diagonally across from the Malba Museum and at Martín Coronado 3300, had previously accumulated two international distinctions on November 21 in the categories of “Architecture Multiple Residence” and “Single Apartment/Condominium Development.” However, the second phase of the competition — contested exclusively among the winning projects from each country — positioned it as the best in Latin America in its category.

The regional recognition ceremony took place on January 16 at the Savoy Hotel in London. A jury composed of more than 100 international specialists evaluated the projects based on criteria that go beyond aesthetics: architectural quality, sustainability, and innovation were the fundamental pillars of the decision.

Creaurbana, the developer responsible for the project and part of Grupo Emes under Marcelo Mindlin’s control, has once again positioned Barrio Parque as a benchmark in premium real estate. Andrés Mindlin, director of new business at Creaurbana, stated that this second recognition “validates the path we have been on to raise the standards of Argentine real estate” and added the commitment to “continue developing long-term projects that highlight the country’s construction quality on a global level.”

International standards in Buenos Aires’ luxury market

The architectural design, created by BMA Architects, responds to a low-density philosophy that is characteristic of premium developments in Barrio Parque. With 28,000 square meters built, the structure houses only 32 residences, each over 300 square meters. This configuration is no coincidence: in a market where every detail matters, the proportion of living space to common areas defines the price positioning and exclusivity.

The price per square meter placed this project among the highest in the country, reflecting the sustained demand for luxury properties in Buenos Aires. The selection of materials, the strategic location in one of the most coveted areas of the capital, and the low-density architecture converged to create a real estate product that competes in the league of the most demanding global developments.

Strategic expansion and future projects

With over one million square meters built throughout its history, Creaurbana continues to expand its portfolio with projects exceeding 120,000 square meters in strategic locations such as Puertos (Escobar), Puerto Madero, and Vicente López. These developments maintain the quality line that has characterized its ventures in Barrio Parque and other premium areas of Buenos Aires.

In the short term, the company is close to delivering two additional projects in Bajo Belgrano: DePampa and DeAlcorta, both positioned in the highest segment of the residential market.
