Techub News reports, according to CoinDesk, records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons indicate that Caroline Ellison, former head of Alameda Research and a key cooperating witness in the FTX lawsuit, has been released from federal prison. She was previously sentenced to two years for the FTX collapse case and was released after serving approximately 14 months.



Now 31 years old, Ellison admitted to multiple charges of fraud and conspiracy involving the misuse of FTX customer funds at the end of 2022, and was sentenced after providing extensive testimony against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried in 2024.
