To support this initiative, Nvidia provides the community with an open dataset that includes over 1,700 hours of driving recordings captured in varied contexts and locations. These recordings are not trivial: they include complex and rare events that reflect real-world driving challenges.

Additionally, AlpaSim — an open-source driving simulation platform available on GitHub — replicates driving environments with fidelity, modeling everything from sensor data to dynamic traffic patterns. This allows developers to test autonomous systems safely and scalably without costly physical-world testing.
