AI Data Infrastructure continues to attract new players this year, and this time we're talking about an interesting latecomer.

Compared to previously popular AI data projects like Sahara, this new project’s background and setup are equally impressive. The core team comes from Scale AI—a company that was acquired by Meta at a valuation of $29 billion, demonstrating the team’s solid understanding of data quality and annotation systems.

In terms of funding, it’s even more luxurious: Framework Ventures is the lead investor, with subsequent funding exceeding $17 million. This funding amount and the lineup of investors place it in the top tier of startup capital in the AI data infrastructure niche.

From the perspectives of team background, funding scale, and investor profile, this project’s hardware conditions are indeed top-notch. The next step is to see how well it executes and gains market recognition.

Scale AI has a solid background, but to be fair, Sahara also raised quite a bit of funding back then. What happened in the end?

Scale AI background + $17 million in funding... Sounds like the next big thing about to take off? How is Sahara doing now? Is anyone following? Framework Ventures is definitely big money, but on the other hand, how long can this round of funding last? Whether the team is strong or not mainly depends on whether they can really deliver results later on. What does Meta's investment mean? It seems like just an endorsement? The real way to make money still depends on user stickiness. Data annotation sounds simple, but when it comes to real competition, it gets pretty intense.

The team from Scale AI started their own venture, and this setup is indeed powerful. 17 million in funding is not a small amount; it all depends on whether they can truly create differentiation.

Former Scale AI employee +17 million funding... this team really has what it takes Wait, Meta acquired at a valuation of 29 billion? Why haven't I heard about this... Another data project, why is the funding story so prevalent in this track this year? When will it actually land? The team is awesome, but in the crypto world, you still need to be cautious about risks Framework Ventures led the investment, which is great, but having money alone can't beat Sahara

Coming from Scale AI is indeed impressive, but honestly, having a background alone isn't enough; the data industry is too complex. Not everyone can grow wildly like Sahara; we’ll have to wait and see what kind of results this wave of framework venture capital can produce. 17 million sounds like a lot, but how long can it sustain in this track? Every day there's a luxury team and luxury funding; few can survive in the end. To put it simply, data monetization isn't as easy as it seems. Whether this round of funding is worth chasing, I still want to see their actual execution before making a judgment.
