On January 20, Ethereum Layer 2 project MegaETH announced that it will launch its public mainnet on January 22,. On the first day, a series of USDM-based DeFi applications will be launched simultaneously, and a global stress test will be initiated, aiming to process 11 billion transactions within 7 days, with expected throughput testing in the range of 15,000–35,000 TPS.
